Shoes That Fit tackles one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by giving children in need new athletic shoes to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play, and thrive.

Genoveva has served on its board since 2018. She not only donates countless volunteer hours to the organization, but she is also a SHOEper Hero, committed to making a recurring donation every month.

Claremont Educational Foundation

Protect & enrich quality public education in Claremont through community involvement.

For almost 30 years, CEF has worked hand-in-hand with Claremont Unified School District and the community to assist in providing all Claremont students the best education possible.

Lawyers in the Library

LA County Law Library

LA Law Library, located in downtown Los Angeles, hosts Lawyers in the Library each month where volunteer attorneys are available for FREE 20-minute consultations.  

​

Genoveva believes that too many people lack access to legal services.  To help bridge that gap she volunteers every month with Lawyers in the Library to provide free consultations to people with family law problems.

SBCC Thrive LA

Empowering our Communities...Changing the Narrative

SBCC is a social change agency empowering Los Angeles residents to develop lasting skills for the betterment of themselves and in turn their community. They believe that every individual has gifts and talents to contribute and that together we build an equitable and just society.

Genoveva donates countless hours to SBCC by providing much-needed family law consultations free of charge to SBCC clients.
